Killian Vendler is the Founder of California Ecology Arborists, bringing a background in arboriculture, plant science, and large-scale nursery operations to his consulting practice. He earned a B.S. in Agriculture and Environmental Plant Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating with Dean’s List honors and a scholarship in insect ecology.
Following graduation, Killian managed operations, including pesticide compliance and a team of 25+, at Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery, one of the largest wholesale nurseries on the West Coast. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, licensed Pest Control Advisor, and Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA). Killian founded California Ecology Arborists in 2022, building the firm around a consulting-focused model that emphasizes technical accuracy, practical solutions, and clear communication.
